Diversified Credit Union's 5-5-5 Program

As a credit union that has been located in Minnesota for over 75 years, we believe in being a part of and giving back to our communities.  It is in this vein that we developed the 5-5-5 program to help those that need help. In Minneapolis, MN this program benefits Sharing and Caring Hands.  In Waseca, MN this program benefits the Neighborhood Service Center.*

Normally to belong to Diversified, it is just a $10 deposit into your new savings account.  With our new program:

Step 1:  You deposit $5 into your new savings account.

Step 2:   We deposit $5 into your new savings account.

Step 3:  We donate $5 to Sharing and Caring Hands of Minneapolis or the Neighborhood Service Center of Waseca.*

At the end of each month, we take the number of new members that joined, multiply that number by $5 and send the appropriate amount to these worthy charities.

*  Sharing and Caring Hands was established to be a bridge from the caring concerned community to the people in need of their help. They receive no government or United Way funding and rely solely on donations to do their work.
    The Neighborhood Service Center operates an Emergency Food Shelf, a School Supply Program for low income families, Wrap-Around Family Grants and Special Needs Grants among many other programs.
